2009 NCAA Bracket Predictions
March 16, 2009
Are you ready for some upsets? Well you should be! This years tournament is filled with great match-ups and a lot of potential early exits. Here are our 2009 NCAA Bracket Predictions: First Round Upsets.
Mid-west: Arizona is one of the classic #5 vs #12 seed match-ups. This one will go in the favor of the underdog. Expect Arizona to out rebound and out shoot an over-rated Utah team. Take the points you get with this one and make a lightening bet with the Wildcats.
West: This will be a minor upset, but expect Maryland to upset California. Nobody is giving Maryland a chance and many think that they do not belong in this tournament. However, expect a good showing at least in their first game against the Bears.
East: Again, this is not even a real upset, but in the #8 vs #9 match-up expect Tennessee to send the Oklahoma State Cowboys home early. Tennessee has the fire power to make some noise in this tournament if they mesh at the right time and I believe that they win easy in their first game. Keep ion mind that 2009 NCAA Bracket Predictions are difficult and involve a lot of risks that offer high rewards.
South: Western Kentucky as the #12 seed will beat the #5 seed in Illinois. Western Kentucky has a lot of experience in this tournament and will look for a good showing this year to show the nation that they are for real. For you gamblers out there, undoubtedly take the points that the Hilltoppers are getting and go right to the bank with them. Out of all four of the following previews, this is the best of my 2009 NCAA Bracket Predictions. The Hilltoppers will win their first game outright and then run into the high octane Zags in the second round, which they will lose.
